The Chief Minister also examined the 22.54 square area in Phase-1 during his morning visit to the Dholera SIR. Phase-1, with more than 95% of work completed, is now ready, and Dholera has become well-prepared for investment through the Global Ecosystem.
In Dholera Special Investment Region, which covers 22 villages in Dholera taluka of Ahmedabad district and spans 920 square kilometers, a well-planned city with world-class core infrastructure is available. With a dedicated underground service corridor, a robust internal road network of 72 kilometers, along with 150 MLD water supply, the city is poised to become a hub for skilled personnel in aerospace, engineering, and other sectors, including auto and auto ancillaries.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, after inspecting the site in Phase-1 Activation Area, provided detailed information about the progress of projects and the newly opened avenues for investment through the Global Ecosystem.
Dholera is also a favorable location for the IT and electronics sectors. The Chief Minister learned about the vast possibilities in Dholera for industries like semiconductor and display facilities, as well as new fields such as green hydrogen.
Dholera’s Western Dedicated Freight Corridor Cluster development is crucial, and the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation is actively investing in the project. Details of this project were also presented to the Chief Minister during his meeting.
During the discussion, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel emphasized the significant contribution of next-generation technology development for sustainable development in Dholera’s industrial smart city infrastructure sectors.
